Painting Experiments and Sculpture

This is my third fabric sculpture piece in my Glitter Organs series. I am slowly working towards a proper heart shape. I also used this piece for a little painting inspiration.

Free style embroidery

I have been working on an continuous experimental embroidery project. It is sometimes a bit intimidating to sit down with a huge piece of fabric and start stitching.

I am enjoying the process of finding the types of stitches I like as well as how the sculptural form will ultimately look like.

My next step here is to cut this up and sew it together.
